Today is Good

So this week has been a tough one. I got a concussion while I was at work and I haven't been in four days now, but I was cleared today! Yay! I wasn't able to crochet because it took too much concentration and it gave me a headache. I can crochet some without getting a headache but I can't spend too much time on it.

I'm currently working on my first Tunisian crochet project, a scarf. Now, I know what you're thinking, "A scarf in June?" Well did I mention it's wool? Ha ha. I have had this wool sitting around for a few months now and I couldn't decide on something to make with it all I knew was I needed it because it is such a beautiful blue, and it is that type of wool that isn't super soft but it isn't really scratchy either it's like the perfect balance. It'll make the perfect snowy day scarf for this winter. and the Tunisian simple stitch is so cool too. It's like a mix of crochet and knit, which I know is exactly what Tunisian crochet is, but it's like it's turned sideways so the knit look will go from left to right instead of top to bottom. After I finish this scarf I'm going to make a pouch for the hooks, I don't have one big enough to hold them because they're so much longer than normal hooks.

I have some projects I need to finish too. I can't mention some of them because they are gifts. I am starting another project that I'm starting for myself though, I need to make a bunch of doilies, I'm not saying what they're for but I need so many in different sizes from 12 inches to 3 inches in diameter. So many doilies to make. I don't even know how many I need to make just that there are going to be a lot.
